Microsoft Chief Product Officer Mark Whitten has detailed the next firmware update for the Xbox One which will allow users to manage their console's storage options, overhauls the system's party and multiplayer features, and brings back the controller battery life indicator.
The update will be available next week on February 11th.
Xbox One owners will at last have access to their console's storage and have the ability to manage its contents. Users will also be able to control their download queue and separate lists will be created for apps and games.
USB keyboard support has been added and one of the most requested fan features, a controller battery life indicator, will be added.
"We have several surprises in store we think you'll love," Whitten wrote. The overhaul of the Xbox One's party and multiplayer systems will be made ahead of Titanfall's March 11th launch on the system but the precise nature of the changes being made have yet to be revealed.
