Basement Crawl Delayed to ‘Enhance, Refine and Add-to’ Release

January 29, 2014 by Andrea Castellano

Basement Crawl delayed until a later date in the first quarter of 2014.

A week before the release of Basement Crawl, a morbid Bomberman-esque game, Bloober Team delayed the PlayStation 4 release until later this quarter.

While most delays come because of unfinished development, Bloober Team cites "exciting opportunities" that can improve the Basement Crawl release. “While the completed version of Basement Crawl was prepped for launch during the last week, several exciting opportunities to partner with major industry players to enhance, refine and add-to the game arose,” said Bloober Team CEO, Piotr Babieno.

Babieno promises the delay will improve Basement Crawl and the studio will explain the improvements sometime within the next few weeks.

Basement Crawl launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 as a digital title sometime before April.
