Left Behind the Only Planned Single Player DLC for The Last of Us

January 24, 2014 by Andrea Castellano

The Last of Us may not see other single player DLC after Left Behind.

When The Last of Us: Left Behind launches on February 14, fans may not see another single player DLC release. When answering fans questions in the comments of a European PlayStation Blog post, Naughty Dog community strategist, Eric Monacelli, said Naughty Dog has nothing else planned for single player DLC.

DualShockers spotted Monacelli's response which stated, "There’s multiplayer DLC up next. We don’t have any more single player DLC planned." Monacelli reassures that Left Behind provides a "good length" and it varies depending on difficulty.

In response to other fan questions, he also said Naughty Dog hasn't shut down the idea of The Last of Us on the PlayStation 4 as the studio continues development on the next Uncharted game. During the PlayStation 4 launch event, Naughty Dog announced a new Uncharted project set to release on the PlayStation 4.

Naughty Dog released the intro cinematic for Left Behind and you can watch it here.
