DayZ creator Dean Hall has said that after the zombie apocalyse horror he intends to "make the 'ultimate' virtual world survival game."
Hall revealed his ambitions in a Reddit AMA where he commented that following DayZ's full launch he's looking forward to:
"Setting up my own studio, working with really creative people, funding recent uni grads to make their own crazy games, trying to make the 'ultimate' virtual world survival game."
The developer also said that he would like to visit space:
"I wish I could spend my life learning about the universe. I love just reading about things and watching documentaries. I love seeing science things in person too. That's why I want to go into space."
DayZ entered Steam Early Access on December 16th and despite the unfinished nature of the game, Bohemia Interactive's CEO Mark Spanel revealed that one million copies were sold during the first mont after release.
The game began life as a mod, created by Hall, for Bohemia's ArmA II and was such a success that he was hired by the company to create a standalone product.
