Will We See A Delay Announcement For Marvel’s Avengers Stream Next Month?

While the original date for Marvel’s Avengers release was supposed to happen earlier this month, the game had been pushed back until September. It was a means to give developers more time to work on the game for a proper release. Since then the world has been going through a health pandemic and this could have played a bigger role in the overall plans for the game development, but so far the title is still slated to release in September of this year. It’s been a little while since we saw anything new for the game, likely due to the majority of events being cancelled in which the game would have been featured in, such as E3 2020. 

Now it looks like we can mark our calendars for the next big reveal event for this game which is June 24, 2020. In a new tweet from the official Marvel’s Avengers Twitter account, it was unveiled that the game would be featured in a streaming event where apparently more gameplay and story would be showcased. In fact, it looks like we are also going to see some co-op gameplay footage as well, though just how much remains to be seen. 

We know that this game follows an event in which caused a massive catastrophic incident that resulted in lost innocent lives. That ultimately resulted in the disbandment of the Avengers, though years later when a new threat emerges, the Avengers are forced into joining back up and saving humanity once again. Of course, with that said, more backstory may be unveiled during the June 24, 2020, streaming event.

Likewise, this game is slated to release on September 4, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. However, as mentioned, the delay originally happened prior to the health pandemic and with most studios working remotely, it will be interesting to see if this event will showcase another push back for the intended release date.
