UPDATE: In a Twitch.tv steam found here, Executive Producer Scot Amos confirmed that the Playstation 4 version of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will be 60 FPS. Here's his full statement below:
Looking here, this is the PS4 version running at 60fps, again at 1080p. That's awesome for that to be able to showcase because when you get your hands on it you can feel it.

In the same report where Square Enix revealed profitability of the game, they also confirmed Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will run at 30 FPS, 1080p on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
While the game’s frontrunners, Crystal Dynamics, are heading up development, porting has been delegated to Nixxes, as well as United Front Games, who made Sleeping Dogs. Crystal Dynamics itself is preoccupied working on the sequel.
Square Enix was also quick to reveal that Crystal Dynamics was the one who went forward with the idea of a port to 8th generation consoles. This decision had nothing to do with Tomb Raider’s sales. They considered this while they were in the middle of making the 7th generation game and learned about the pending introduction of what could then be called next generation consoles.
Of course, as any PC gamer can point out, you can play the game at 60FPS right now. There is no way getting around how this does not look good for the upcoming port. To put this in perspective, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was just ported from GameCube to the Wii U, and that port led to the game going up to 60 FPS, 1080p.
Perhaps this should not be such a surprise, since we know many of the launch titles for Playstation 4 and especially Xbox One were not able to go full 60 FPS. Developers have yet to fully realize the potential of either console, and subsequently aren’t using it to its maximum yet. Unfortunately, it also means that the supposed Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider is not so definitive.
