Infinite Crisis Introduces Atomic Poison Ivy

January 8, 2014 by Andrea Castellano

Infinite Crisis introduces Atomic Poison Ivy to the Champion roster.

Reborn after nuclear fallout, Atomic Poison Ivy joins the Infinite Crisis roster to help fight for the now toxic earth.

Using her thorns and roots, Atomic Poison Ivy fills the role as Enforcer. Her abilities revolve around her passive, Toxic Growth. Whenever enemies attack the shield sprouted through Toxic Growth, enemies are tagged and now take additional damage from Atomic Poison Ivy's abilities.

Toxic Growth proves its worth when using other abilities such as Poisoned Earth. The area-of-effect ability damages Champions around her and applies also Toxic Growth. Already marked targets consume the Toxic Growth and receive increased damage.

Atomic Poison Ivy can also gain certain buffs when she combines Toxic Growth with her other abilities. Using the disable Ramble Rapture, she gains a movement boosts from targets already marked with the passive. If Atomic Poison Ivy uses her slow, Wall of Thorns, any enemies marked with Toxic Growth are silenced and cannot use their abilities.

Her Ultimate ability, Secrets of the Forest, spawns a fog around her that grants nearby allies with Armor and Stealth. Nearby enemies are also marked with Toxic Growth every second – a perfect setup for the rest of the damage dealing abilities.

For tips on how to successfully jungle with Toxic Poison Ivy, watch the video below.

Infinite Crisis is still in the beta stage of development. To participate, you can sign up for the closed beta on the Infinite Crisis website.
