Sony plans to drop online support for Gran Turismo 5 and the Resistance trilogy in early 2014. Online support for Resistance and its sequels will cease on March 28, 2014, followed by a shuttering of the the Gran Turismo 5 servers on May 20, 2014.
The servers for MAG, SOCOM: Special Forces, and SOCOM: Confrontation will also be shut down on January 28. Unfortunately for players, both MAG and SOCOM: Confrontation are online-only titles so you won’t be able to play them beyond that date. They'll be worth even less to GameStop than they already are now.
