Earlier today IGN reported that Drinkbox Studio's platforming puzzle game Guacamelee is in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
According to the report, Guacamelee will launch on the new consoles with new features in Spring, 2014. However, IGN has since removed the report from its website.
As part of its next-gen offering the game will feature two new worlds with additional enemies, a 'chicken bomb' ability, and enchanced graphics and particle effects.
In a statement to Polygon Drinkbox strangely commented, "What's Guacamelee?" while game designer Chris McQuinn told JoyStiq that the studio is "not ready to talk about any of our current projects but we'll be sure to reach out to you when we are."
Guacamelee was released in April of this year on PS3 and PS Vita before being ported to PC in August.
As ever, we'll keep you updated if or when Guacamelee is announced for PS4 and Xbox One.
