Warhammer Online Goes Offline For Good

Warhammer Online is no more. The game will be taking its servers down after close to six years of operations. 

The game launched way back in 2008, developed by Mythic, which had previously developed and released the PvP-focused MMORPG, Dark Age of Camelot. 

Published by Electronic Arts, the game was cast as a fan favorite to topple Blizzard’s juggernaut title World of Warcraft, and saw the introduction of many features that are now staples of the MMORPG genre, including public quests, realm-vs-realm battles, PvP levels and progress. and achievements for exploration, quests, and more.
