Dead Rising 3 DLC Delayed Until January

December 19, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Delay made to ensure ‘best possible experience for players’.

Capcom has announced that it is to delay the release of the Operation: Broken Eagle DLC for Dead Rising 3 until January 21st.

In a statement to JoyStiq a Capcom spokesperson said:

"Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it's released. Stay tuned for additional updates."

Operation: Broken Eagle was originally due to be released on Christmas Eve, December 24th. The DLC followed in the footsteps of Special Ops Commander Adam Kane who has been tasked with finding the President of the United States – missing since the outbreak of the zombie infection.

It's the first of four DLC packs and adds additional weapons and garments as well as one extra combo weapon and vehicle. Operation: Broken Eagle is inlcuded in Dead Rising 3's $30 Season Pass or can be picked up separately for $9.99.
