Ubisoft has delayed the release of Assassin's Creed 4's Freedom Cry DLC on PC which had been due for release today.
On the publisher's forums community manager Mr_Shade wrote:
“The PC version of the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release in the coming days. We are taking the extra time to apply a final layer of polish to ensure that it meets the expectations of our fans.”
When "in the coming days" might be is not currently known and the console versions of the DLC are not affected.
The DLC itself is set 15 years after the events of Black Flag's main story and focuses on Edward's shipmate Adewale who seeks to free slaves in the French colony of Haiti.
Ubisoft says that Freedom Cry contains hints about Assassins Creed 5.
