In addition to the launch trailer for Yakuza 5 Remastered, SEGA released a behind the scenes interview with Yakuza 5 director Masayoshi Yokoyama, Takaya Kuroda (voice actor for Kiryu), and Hidenari Ugaki (voice actor for Majima), check it out down below:
Lastly, SEGA detailed The Yakuza Remastered Collection, which includes Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 Remastered.
The bundle will come with collector’s digipack featuring the main characters dragon tattoo. However, that’s not the only cool feature that comes with collection addition. Fans of the franchise might remember the struggle of Yakuza 5 when it launch for PS3 for western users.
The game was an only digital title, meaning there was no way to own the game physically. With a lot of physical media collectors, SEGA decided to fix that wrong and released artwork for the PS3 case featuring the Western cover art and English logo for Yakuza 5! That means you will be able to now own a physical version of Yakuza 5, with the original PS3 launch artwork. This is a nice touch from SEGA, which will go a long way with their fans.
Yakuza 5 Remaster is now available to purchase on the PS4. Are you a fan of the Yakuza franchise? Are you planning on picking up the new remaster? Let us know in the comments below!
