Tomb Raider will be getting an upgraded version by way of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game, which was released earlier this year on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will be getting a release on next-gen platforms in the form of a "Definitive Edition".
Square Enix made the announcement through an ad on the VGX website.
Little else is known about the title as of this time, but we expect Square Enix to reveal more about the upgrade and what it's set to contain within the coming days, if not hours. Given the name however, it's likely that the so-called "Definitive Edition" will include all of the multiplayer DLC released for Tomb Raider, including Shipwrecked, Cliffs and Caves, and 1939.
The ad that is currently running on VGX lists the game's release date as January 28, 2014. Expect it.
