Broken Age, the Kickstarter success story with close ties to classic adventure games, will have an all-star cast when it comes to voice actors. Double Fine has released a new update for its thousands of backers revealing just some of the voice talent that will be featured in the final game.
If you’ve been paying attention to the multiple development videos released to the loyal Broken Age backers, news that Curtis the Lumberjack will be included in the game is pretty big. The character was first created to help test animations, but quickly became a favorite of the game's backers and an obvious addition into the story. Former Star Trek actor Wil Wheaton will be providing his voice, making his inclusion all the more significant.
Masasa Moyo (BioShock Infinite, Halo ODST) will take over as the game's female lead character, Vella, while other veterans like Nicki Rapp (Lili from Psychonauts) and Ginny Wescott (Nurse Edna from Day of the Tentacle) have also taken unannounced roles.
Double Fine is expected to make a major announcement at the upcoming Spike VGX, so we could get even more news about Broken Age in the near future.
