Eidos Montreal recently released Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut for last gen consoles and PC as well as Wii U for the first time however; the updated version of the game has noticabaly inferior graphics even after patching.
In a post on the Deus Ex forums user Dustin1986 compared the textures of the original game with those of the Director's Cut noting:
"The two most obvious glitches before the patch were probably Jensen's Apartment floor texture and the Detroit Apartments hallway texture. These textures were only partially fixed by the new patch. The problem is a bit hard to describe but I'll try. Both of these textures are supposed to have a Reflective Surface, and it seems like this Reflective Surface is still displaying at a very low resolution. It's stretched out, not tiling properly. Or something.
"Also, the 'Fixed' textures are still twice the size that they should be. The Detroit Apartment tiles are too big, And Adam's Apartment Wooden floor planks are too big. They are broken and still look terrible."
In the first gallery below you can see the textures from the Director's Cut below which is a gallery of the same images from the initial release of Human Revolution.
Eidos Montreal is currently developing Deus Ex: Universe for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
