Thanksgiving weekend is a huge weekend for sale numbers for big retailers and manufacturers, and it seems that Nintendo cashed in this year by hitting some major milestone records.
This weekend the company have sold well over 800k Nintendo Switches in the Americas. There was a bunch of great sales and bundles so there is no doubt a lot of people decided to jump onto the Switches bandwagon at this time. Plus it make sense to buy Christmas gifts a little early when the console is discounted so there should be no shock here.
However, it is nice to see the gaming community so active. Nintendo has been knocking it out of the park as of late. Not only did they release one of their biggest IP’s recently — Pokemon Sword and Shield — but they have been really pushing Luigi’s Mansion 3. Both titles are great entries in their respective franchises.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a spooky ghost adventure that will have you yearning to play for hours upon hours. It seems that the latest entry manages to up the spooky level while managing to keep the game fun for all ages.
