PlayStation has released a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer which showcases the brand new battlepass in action!
Launching alongside their first season content drop, which is available to download today for free, will give players the ability to grind out levels to earn special unlockables. Most similar to Fortnite’s battle pass, users will have the ability to achieve certain goals to unlock special rewards. From the trailer we get to see some of those unlockables, such as gun trinkets, skins, and much more!
The battlepass will have 150 items to unlock for free and of course there is a version of the battlepass that can be purchased. However, purchasing one is not necessary, unless you want to get some special exclusive items.

The new content is being referred to as the ‘first season’ and will consist of a slew of new multiplayer DLC. Let’s break it down by sections; first, there will be a total of 6 new maps coming to the game, some being exclusive to specific game modes such as Ground War and 2v2 Gunfight.
Secondly, three new multiplayer modes will be debuting as well, along with two new weapons; RAM-7 and Holger-26. Lastly, new special op experiences will be also debuting in the first season, so be on the lookout for that as well.
