BioWare has put together a new trailer for the upcoming free digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Titled "Galactic Starfighter," the expansion allows players the ability to customize their own spaceships and go head to head in free-flight dogfighting with up to 24 players.
"Advance and earn valuable requisition, a new type of experience points that you can use to unlock new weapons, powers, abilities, and more. Specialize your ship role by unlocking variants with different components and abilities that further define your role in battle. Fight with your ground game companions (unlocked by character) or choose new crew members available as part of Galactic Starfighter, each with their own unique set of abilities."
Early access to the expansion is set to open on December 3 for players who've had subscriptions since November 1. Players with Preferred status can experience the expansion on January 14, 2014. Free-to-play players will join on February 4, 2014.
