A trailer that aired during Sony's PlayStation 4 launch event this evening revealed a chapter of upcoming DLC for Naughty Dog's horror survival hit The Last of Us. Few details are available, but what is known is that the content will act as a prequel telling Ellie's story as she attends a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone prior to the events of The Last of Us. Riley, a character from The Last of Us comic series, will act as her companion. Entitled Left Behind, the DLC will launch in "early 2014". Check out the teaser video below.
Interesting timing, this announcement. Did Sony choose the PlayStation 4 event because they knew they'd have our attention, or is there a chance The Last of Us could eventually end up on PlayStation 4?
