The PlayStation Store is Now On Amazon

November 12, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Amazon now sells codes for PSN games, DLCs, and more in the US.

Sony and Amazon have teamed up to bring the PlayStation Store to the online retailer in the US.

Amazon.com now offers codes for PlayStation Network games, DLCs, and other store content for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. Before this, users had to use Sony's official browser portals or the PlayStation Store on their consoles in order to pruchase content.

Once you've bought something on Amazon you can unlock the code on your console of choice. As part of the store launch on Amazon users can get $5 back on select purchases.

Amazon is currently also offering a buy-two-get-one free deal on PlayStation 4 games.

As mentioned, the service is currently only available in the US, and it's not yet known if Amazon and Sony will extend their deal to other regions.

The PlayStation 4 launches this Friday in North America and you can check out the official unboxing video here.
