GTA 4: Complete Edition Is 75 % Off On Steam Today

November 4, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

Trevor, Michael and Franklin aren’t making it to PC yet. In the meantime, play Niko, Luis and Johnny for a pittance.

Rockstar still does not want to comment on whether they plan to bring GTA 5 to PC or not, but if you want to get that GTA fix, and not from Saints Row, Steam is offering GTA 4: Complete Edition for 75 % off for today only.

So, it’s obviously not GTA 5, but Steam and Rockstar may be onto something here. For only $ 7.49, you can get all of GTA 4 and the Episodes from Liberty City, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

As a short recap, GTA 4 recounts the story of Niko Bellic, an Eastern European war veteran who travels to Liberty City and finds himself drawn into the criminal underworld.  The story is a break from the world established in previous GTA games, and then establishes a new canon, as Rockstar places connections between it and GTA 5 .

The Lost and Damned finds you playing biker gang boss Johnny Klebitz, in a story way too reminiscent of Sons of Anarchy. Johnny has a good thing going with his gang, The Lost, brokering deals with other gangs to run a smooth drug and gun smuggling operation. Things go awry when Billy comes back. The Lost and Damned fixes the gameplay of GTA 4 with more mid-mission checkpoints, and is considerable in length in itself.

The Ballad of Gay Tony has you playing one of Tony’s henchmen, Luis Fernando Lopez. Luis does outside work with other gangs to help Tony pay his debts, but himself get stuck between a rock and a hard place when a mission to recover one of their clients’ property goes awry. The Ballad of Gay Tony introduces even more improvements, allowing you to replay missions for a higher score and offering new things to do, life compete in fights, drunk, dance, and go to the driving range.

Steam makes it a point to remind you GTA 4 on its own is still $ 20, and its expansions $ 23, so you will want to take advantage of this deal while you still can. You may tell yourself you already own it, but who are you kidding? Get it for yourself here.
