Ubisoft has confirmed to Eurogamer that the additional content for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which features an extra hour of gameplay starring Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation protagonist Aveline, will remain as a permanent exclusive for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
This follows a trailer released by Sony last week for the PS4 which suggested that the content was merely a timed six month exclusive.
The trailer also revealed that extra content for the delayed Watch_Dogs would only be exclusive to PlayStation for six months and it seems that this is indeed the case with the DLC eventually being released on PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One as well.
Even so, Xbox and computer players will be able to experience some of Aveline's story when Assassin's Creed Liberation HD hits PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in early 2014.
You can watch the 'Best Place to Play' trailer, which made the claims concerning Assassin's Creed 4's DLC, below. Black Flag is out now for PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. It will be released in November for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
