Rise of the Triad Gets Updated to 1.2, Adds Quicksave Support

October 29, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Rise of the Triad now lets you design your own maps.

The ever ludicrous Rise of the Triad, which we reviewed here, has just been updated to version 1.2 and sees the addition of the Ludicrous Development Kit and support for quicksaving.

Weighing in at a hefty but not too hefty 1.0GB, this is the second big content patch which adds tweaks, optimizations and features requested by players since release.

The ludicrous development kit provides players with access to over 16,000 assets with classic graphics from 1995, and recreate their favorite FPS maps as well as brand new, original maps.

The rest of the changes and updates to the game can be found in this developer post on the Steam forums.
