Ultra Street Fighter 4 Adds New Fighting Systems

October 25, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Ultra Street Fighter 4 introduces the Ultra Combo Double and Red Focus Attack systems.

When Capcom releases Ultra Street Fighter 4 in 2014, players must learn a handful of new fighting systems.

At the character selection stage players must choose between Ultra 1 and Ultra 2 combos. Once players build up enough revenge meters, the new Ultra Combo Double system lets players use either Ultra at a reduced damage cost.

In addition to the Ultra Combo Double system, a new Focus Attack system deepens the technicality. The Red Focus Attack lets players absorb multiple attacks when players consume Super meter. The red glow will help players distinguish Red Focus Attacks from the regular usage.

To see the news systems in action, the video below demonstrates their usage in a number of situations.

Capcom announced Ultra Street Fighter 4 after the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 grand finals. The update will release for $14.99 or retail on a disc for $39.99.
