BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Sending Players Back to Rapture Nov. 12

October 25, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

The first piece of story-driven DLC for BioShock Infinite will be hitting early next month.

Hopefully you haven’t started packing up your old hardware in anticipation for the new generation. There’s still plenty of life left in those dusty old consoles under you TV, and thankfully, the DLC for one of the biggest releases will finally see the light of day early next month. The first episode of BioShock Infinite’s Burial at Sea, which puts players right back into the wonderful world of Rapture, will be available on all major platforms Nov. 12. Yes, that’s right before all of the next-generation madness begins.

This first episode, which started development after the completion of the core game, follows Booker and Elizabeth on their search for a missing girl. We have a full information blowout on the additional content if you’re interested in learning more about the story-driven experience, but for now, just know that Irrational boss Ken Levine will be giving you more interesting story bits to chew on.

The DLC will cost player $14.99 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but those who bought the $19.99 Season Pass will have access to the content as soon as it goes live. The developers aren’t giving you too much time before the Nov. 15 launch of the PS4, but you should still take the time to further enjoy one of the best games of this generation.
