Activision has now confirmed details on Call of Duty: Ghosts’ minimum requirements for Windows, and confirming earlier word from Nvidia, the game requires a 64-bit operating system, as well as 6 GB RAM.
In fact, everything about Call of Duty: Ghosts requirements clearly indicates that the game is a significant upgrade from the last installment in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which was just released last year. Whereas Black Ops 2 could still run on Vista SP2, Ghosts now requires Windows 7 or 8. DirectX 11 remains the API standard, and Broadband internet is needed for Steam and online multiplayer. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available November 5 on Windows, Playstation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360, November 15 on Playstation 4, and November 22 on Xbox One.
