*End Update*
Assassin's Creed Liberation HD will be coming to the PlayStation 3 on January 14th according to PlayStation's official blog. This was originally available only on the PlayStation Vita device. The game is set in New Orleans between 1765 and 1780 and players take control of a female assassin named Aveline.
In addition to getting an HD upgrade, there will also be news missions specific to Aveline's persona. "Aveline is the first Assassin with such clearly different character types — Assassin, Lady, and Servant. Each persona has its own advantages and disadvantages when playing missions, and each generates a different reaction from the city life around Aveline. That’s a total of 15 missions delving deeper into Aveline’s story," the blog detailed.
The HD port was previously announced for the PC,PS3, and Xbox 360. However, there's still no word when the game will be coming to Microsoft platforms. It will be priced at USD $19.99 on the PS3.
