A new package called DayZ Early Access recently popped up on Steam's database today accompanied by a couple of updates. This was enough to spark frenzy and anticipation amongst the game's devoted fanbase even if a release date was never confirmed.
The database registry shows that it is listed for the US territory, but it is most likely playable in other regions. A server app was also uncovered which hints that it might be possible to host private servers.
We know that the game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows, but it may skip the Xbox One.
