In preparation for the next-generation of console, the next DC Universe Online update prepares for the PlayStation 4 launch with improved graphics across all platforms.
PC and PlayStation 4 players will notice improved texture detail and smoother environment geometry following Game Update 31. In an attempt to further improve visuals, redesigns of Centennial Park and Robison Park help to match plot events. These new changes will also arrive on the PlayStation 3.
The new patch reworks the first 30 levels and introduces more content as each player progresses. Missions exclusively tied to specific mentors open its restrictions in update 31, allowing players with different mentors to play through previously restricted content.
The DC Universe Online patch arrives on the PlayStation 3 and PC in early November. A PlayStation 4 version of DC Universe Online releases during the console's launch window.
