Hideo Kojima’s split from Konami permitted him the time and effort to make his own video game production studio known as Kojima Productions and his first debut title will be Death Stranding. Kojima has been hyping the game up as something unique and new. Likewise, a good tool to keep players interested is by keeping them constantly guessing. Since its announcement, little information was really given out about Death Stranding. We know some of the cast of characters and who is portraying them, but the actual details of what his narrative adventure will be about remains a somewhat mystery.
During Gamescom Hideo Kojima was present to give fans around the world a look at his upcoming game. The famed developer did note that the video game would be more or less really shown during the Tokyo Game Show this year, but we did get a small new taste of the game. Gamescom presented viewers with gameplay footage and a trailer showcasing a couple of new characters. However, if that wasn’t enough for you then you’ll be able to enjoy over an hours worth of content at the Tokyo Game Show.
TGS 2019 is coming next week and already Kojima Productions is alerting fans of the dates fans can get a look at new content. On September 12, 2019, Death Stranding will have 50 minutes of content while September 14, 2019, there will be an additional 30 minutes of content unveiled. Furthermore, it was noted that September 15, 2019, the Japanese voice actors for the game will be present, but it wasn’t stated if any more content will be unveiled during that particular day.
At any rate, that’s plenty of content to swift through once it releases. We’re also getting close to its release date which is set for November 8, 2019, where it will launch exclusively on the PlayStation 4 platform.
