Cyberpunk 2077 is a very much highly anticipated video game title coming in 2020. Developed from CD Projekt Red, the studio has a few ideas and changes made towards the actual development process after coming off of The Witcher 3. One of those big changes was adding a whole team dedicated to sidequests and adding content for players to enjoy within the game world. From the start of Cyberpunk 2077’s official unveiling, developers have been hyping up the map, Night City, as being something vast and full of content.
We got two main videos overlooking the city which is broken up into districts. The latest video was streamed earlier today as it went over a specific distract for players though it was only until after the gameplay footage came to an end that the developers started to discuss some of the behind-the-scenes processes that went into developing Cyberpunk 2077. One of those was the creation of a new team dealing with sidequests or known as Street Stories in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 2018 Gameplay Footage
This team is responsible for making fun and interesting content for players to do within the city. There’s an emphasis on offering a wide variety of content and its likely something to keep players enjoying the game outside of the main campaign. Since a big element to Cyberpunk 2077 is presenting players with choices that alter the game and narrative, there’s a good chance that some of these sidequests and activities may be locked behind certain choices you make during the game. As a result, there’s a big incentive of replaying the game after you complete the campaign.
If you by chance missed the stream that happened earlier today then you can read our coverage of the stream right here or you can check out the full footage upload of the game demo posted above. As for when you can get a copy of the game, CD Projekt Red is aiming to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 on April 16, 2020, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms with Google Stadia receiving a port at a later date.
