Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts that looks at the game's clans which are described as an "integral" part of the title's online experience.
If you do decide to join up to a clan you'll receive exclusive items and bonus unlocks, as well as the chance to go head-to-head with other clans across a variety of game modes.
Ghosts represents the first game in the series in which clans are cross-platform compatible meaning that if you're an Xbox One gamer, for example, and your friends are on PS4, you'll all still be able to join the same clan.
You'll be able to join and manage a clan in-game but the "real centerpiece" of the clan experience will be Call of Duty App which will allow you to edit your teams emblem, check clan stats, chat with other members, and invite them to join a game.
If you're not in a clan, the app will suggest one for you.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is set for release on current-gen systems and PC on November 5h. It will be released on PS4 and Xbox One later in November.
