Cyberpunk 2077 has been one of the most anticipated video game titles releasing this coming year. There’s been plenty of hype building up for CD Projekt Red’s upcoming video game and for good reason. This is the first new mainline game coming off of The Witcher trilogy and from the gameplay footage shown so far, the title looks to be quite ambitious. Best of all, even though we are gearing up for the release of next-generation video game consoles, Cyberpunk 2077 is confirmed to be a current-generation platform release. Now it’s been a while since we got any new footage publicly for the video game, but that’s going to change here soon.
Thanks to a post made on the official website for Cyberpunk 2077, the development team at CD Projekt Red is alerting fans of an upcoming gameplay stream. While Gamescom has been mainly the focus for the video game industry at the moment, CD Projekt Red is alerting fans that the gameplay was intended to be shown off at PAX West but there has been some last-minute change of plans. Instead of showcasing the stream from the event, CD Projekt Red is looking to bring in viewers online during a stream from Warsaw.
This is not a private stream but something that will be available to watch anywhere. It’s set to take place on August 30, 2019, at 11 AM PT and it will be available to watch through the official CD Projekt Red Mixer channel. This stream is about fifty minutes of content that was shown to journalist and gamers at Gamescom along with some interviews with the developers so we’re going to get some brand new footage and likely feature announcements next week.
Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia platforms on April 16, 2020.
