Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is an anticipated title since the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines launched back in 2004. Now after decades have passed, those who have been waiting for a new installment to release can start to prepare for the upcoming sequel. We got the initial reveal from Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 back in March of this year, new gameplay footage has come out during Gamescom 2019.
This footage comes from IGN and it shows a bit of the in-game world along with other attributes such as dialogue options. For instance, during the game demo, players are introduced to a character where you have a wide variety of dialogue choices, some of which will direct the protagonist on how to handle the given situation. Likewise, there is even some combat shown as players can witness our hero use both skills as a vampire to gunplay and melee.
Again, much like the first installment, players will be taking on the role of a vampire but in a city that is filled with different factions. Unfortunately, not too many details were released and we won’t get our hands on a copy this year. Instead, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be launching next year, 2020 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. In the meantime, check out the new gameplay footage from Gamescom above along with some screenshots below.
