Assassin’s Creed 4 Gameplay Sees Edward Kenway Meet The Jackdaw

October 9, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The gameplay footage is taken from Sequence 3 when the Assassin finally meets his ship and crew.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag sees the protagonist, Edward Kenway, take on the role of a pirate but it's not until Sequence 3 in the game that he is introduced to his ship, The Jackdaw, and its crew.

Yesterday, Ubisoft detailed the game's DLC and season pass. The most substantial add-on is Freedom Cry which is set 15 years after the events of the main game and casts players as The Jackdaw's first mate Adawale.

The Jackdaw plays an important role in Black Flag and has been described as Kenway's U.S.S. Enterprise.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is due for release on October 29th for current-gen systems in North America and November 1st in Europe. The PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions will launch on November 22nd with the European PS4 version launching on November 29th.
