Batman: Arkham Origins producer Guillaume Voghel has defended Warner Brothers' decision to include a $20 season pass with the game saying it represents a "lot of value".
"The costume DLC is going to be available with the season pass and it's basically a bonus right?" Voghel commented to IGN.
"There's going to be a lot of value in that season pass. One of the items we can't talk about yet…we'll just wait for the gamers to really see what the entire package contains. It's going to be a big deal."
Those who pick up the pass will be able to download Arkham Origins Initiaion; a new game mode in which gamers can play as Bruce Wayne before he becomes Batman on new challenge maps and a new story campaign that Warner Bros. is not currently talking about.
The title's season pass also grants buyers both the Millenium and Infinite Earths skins packs – which are made up of 12 skins in all – as well as the Gotham by Gaslight and Brightest Day Batman skins.
Earlier this week; Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, was confirmed to be making an appearance in the game with the release of new screenshots.
The game sees Batman take on eight assassins over the course of Christmas Eve and is the first title in the franchise to include multiplayer.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set for release on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on October 25th and will be accompanied by spin-off title Origins Blackgate on PS Vita and 3DS on the same date.
