Sony has revealed the existence of two tablets, codenamed S1 and S2, intended to compete with the iPad.
Both tablets are PlayStation Certified and will presumably have access to similar titles as Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play phone.
The S1 will feature a single screen with a 9.4-inch display. The S2 is a clamshell device, designed for "mobile communication and entertainment," with two 5.5-inch screens and a 1024×480 display.
The S2 will share controls similar to the Nintendo DS, with on-screen buttons in place of real buttons. Both devices will have access to WiFi, 3G and 4G and will be using Android 3 as an operating system.
