Ubisoft has confirmed with Eurogamer that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag players can rate missions upon completion.
The rating feature will help Ubisoft receive direct feedback and responses from players to improve future missions.
Associate producer on Assassin's Creed 4, Sylvain Trottier, explained Ubisoft's intent with the system. "The idea behind this feature is to be able to get the input of our players on their appreciation of each mission. The rating is anonymous and is sent to our servers to be analyzed."
At the end of missions during the synchronization details, a completely optional 5-star rating system appears near the bottom of the screen. The information will then reach Ubisoft's servers where they can gather player feedback.
With the newly added rating system implemented to improve mission quality, players can expect many more Assassin's Creed titles in the years to come.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag releases on PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on October 29, 2013, with the PlayStation 4 version debuting November 15, PC on November 19, and Xbox One on November 22. The achievements were revealed late last month.
