Pokemon Go was a massive worldwide phenomenon. Everyone, old and young, was out in the public holding their smartphones out to catch them up all. For fans of the Pokemon franchise, the game is still thriving and providing gamers not only additional Pokemon in comparison to the original series. Right now there is a new event taking place that has players battling against Team Rocket to rid the world from their evil schemes. This new event has started some speculation that perhaps we’ll even see the leader behind the group, Giovanni, make a grand appearance.
Spotted by Gamerant, if you watch the teaser showcasing the Team Rocket Pokemon Go event, you can spot what looks to be a silhouette of Giovanni. It’s a quick appearance so it’s possible that the character. However, this could be a quick nod to the boss that is leading Team Rocket and if that’s the case, would we see him in the Pokemon Go video game?
This character has been around for years and was a mean antagonist from the original Pokemon video games. So it wouldn’t be too surprising to see him come up at some point in the video game. For now, it’s anyone’s guess as to if this villainous character will show up for a battle. In the meantime, you can continue to battle against Team Rocket grunts. In other Pokemon news, we learned that a new unannounced mobile game is currently being developed from TiMi Group. Likewise, gamers looking for the main installments can prepare for the release of Pokemon Sword & Shield which is releasing for the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.
