Epic Games has announced the full details for the plans it has in store for Gears of War 3 beta testers. Anyone who has purchased the Epic Edition of Bulletstorm has already had a chance to play the upcoming game for a week, and now those who have pre-ordered the title can now join them in online battles.
The Team Deathmatch and King of the Hill modes will be available for players to play from April 25 to May 1. Players will be able to duke it out in the Thrashball, Checkout and Trenches maps.
On May 2 to May 8, Epic will enable the Capture the Leader game type as well as the Old Town scenario.
The last week of the beta, which goes from May 9 to May 15, will allow players to do battle in any of the three battle modes and four released maps.
Epic intends to include exclusive medals, weapon skins, character model variants and other unlocks for beta testers. These bonuses will carry into the retail edition of Gears of War 3 when it launches for the Xbox 360 on September 20.
