Valve is by far one of the most secretive companies in existence—and with good reason: they're at the top of their game, and they're rumored to be making some of the most sought-after titles in the industry. Needless to say, leaks are hard to come by, especially of late.
Today, the Washington-based company announced the Steam Controller, a touch-enabled device that does away with analog sticks in favor of two touchpads and a host of other changes to what everyone's come to expect from a controller. They've reinvented the wheel, as it were, just as they've done so in the past with the advent of online retail and digital downloads.
Anyway, the controller's a fine-looking device, and it's more than just an obscenely well-made graphical render: it's real. Here's a leak an image that wasn't originally on Valve's announcement page to prove that it does, for a fact, exist in prototype form.
Update: The original post mistakenly referred to the image as a leak. It was simply added later by Valve.
