When it comes to Star Wars, there’s certainly an anticipated video game release. We’re of course referring to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a video game being developed under Respawn Entertainment. This title is a more story narrative focused game with the title taking place shortly after the events of Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. While the game has been highly anticipated since its announcement, the footage since has been receiving some slight criticisms with the actual lightsaber weapon.
If you’re a big buff with the Star Wars franchise then you may have also spotted the lightsaber not being as bright or shaped like the canon material represents the weapon. This caused some fan feedback regarding how the lightsaber should look and since then the development team has confirmed that the adjustments have been made. This bit of news comes from Game Informer who spoke with Stig Asmussen, who is the game director behind the title.
Stig stated that this was an honest mistake on the development studio part and after the criticism came in from fans, they went back and made the adjustments to better represent how the lightsaber should be in comparison to the canon material. There was also some tweaks made to how the weapon will look in terms of the shape so if you enjoy the franchise, you may see the difference.
At any rate, there is still plenty of time left for developers to make some additional tweaks if needed. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order follows a surviving Jedi after Order 66 which has caused him to keep alone and hide his history. Get ready to embark on a brand new journey which will kick off on November 15, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
