The Batman Arkham games have been great and there are several installments available to enjoy right now on both console along with PC platforms. However, it’s been about four years now since we received an installment to the series and the development team behind the games, Rocksteady, are currently working on a new project that’s been kept under wraps. Now that we’re moving forward past E3 2019 and Rocksteady has not commented on their current hero game project or any other franchises that may be in the works, one former voice actor is hoping to encourage a return to Gotham.
Kevin Conroy is the voice actor responsible for the role of Bruce Wayne and recently tweeted a reply to a message from Rocksteady. The development team noted that the series has celebrated its four year anniversary since the last title released. This is where Kevin spoke up and stated there’s no reason to stop. It looks like Kevin is eager to jump back into the role of the Dark Knight but it doesn’t seem that Rocksteady is interested in returning yet or potentially at all.
As we mentioned earlier, Rocksteady is working on another hero video game franchise though it’s uncertain as to what it will be about. There has been rumors and reports that it could be something along with the likes of the Suicide Squad, but again, nothing official has been stated. The only shred of news we received about the game was that it would not be presented during E3 2019.
We want to hear from you. What did you think of the Batman Arkham series and would you like to see another game release from the studio?
