The first Theater of War DLC for Company of Heroes 2 will be released at 13:00 ET and is called Case Blue. The add-on will be available via Steam.
Case Blue includes about single player and multiplayer content and features around actual events which occured on the Eastern Front during the German invasion of the Soviet Union during World War 2; specifically, the DLC will focus on the summer of 1942.
The DLC includes two singler player maps, two AI battles, and one co-op scenario. A further two multiplayer maps will be added today for free as part of a title update.
The add-on will cost $9.99 though if you pre-order it before launch later today you can get it for $8.99. The Digital Collector's Edition and Pre-order Edition of Company of Heroes 2 include Case Blue so owners of those versions will be able to download the DLC for free once it's launched.
Company of Heroes did quite well when it launched selling 380,000 copies in five days pushing publisher Sega to post a profit.
