A new assassin for Batman: Arkham Origins may have been revealed following the leak of the game's achievements a month before launch.
Assuming the achievements are genuine we now know that there will be a new game plus mode; enigma items which will lead to the first Riddler trophy, I Am the Night Mode which may be an extra-hard difficulty, four career tracks – Shadow Vigilante, Gotham protector, Worst Nightmare and World’s Greatest Detective – and Lady Shiva.
In the DC Universe Lady Shiva trained the third Robin, Tim Drake; while her daughter, Cassandra Cain, would later become the new Batgirl. She is a martial arts grandmaster, one of the most skilled combatants in the entire DC Universe. Shiva is an assassin-for-hire, who specializes in bare-handed kills.
She has been both a friend and an enemy of Batman over the years. As Origins sees Wayne take on eight assassins over the course of Christmas Eve it's likely that she's among them.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set for release on November 25th for PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Spin-off title Origins Blackgate will be released on the same day for PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
You can check out all 50 achievements for the game here – 11 of which are for the game's multiplayer segment, a new addition to the series; if you haven't seen them yet you can watch four videos of the game's online mode in action.
