Ubisoft didn’t take to the stage to unveil the next Assassin’s Creed installment or bring back the Splinter Cell franchise. However, they decided to end the show with their next IP release known as Gods & Monsters. This is a brand new lore-based adventure title that resembles the latest The Legend of Zelda installment, Breath of the Wild. We only got a small taste of the game with the premiere cinematic trailer so perhaps more information will come out during the rest of the big E3 expo. At any case, there is at least one aspect to this game already that has gamers interested.
From the creators of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey comes a storybook adventure about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods. Prove your heroism by fighting dangerous mythological creatures and taking on their fearsome leader in a face-off for the ages. Explore a beautiful fantasy world where tricky trials, treacherous dungeons, and heroic feats await. The journey will be as challenging and rewarding as the final destination, and you will emerge as the hero you are meant to become.
The development team who brought out the much-beloved installment to Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is behind this latest project. Assassins’ Creed Odyssey is full of places to explore in a rather massive open world environment. We’re hoping for a similar treatment with Gods & Monsters, but again, we don’t have too much information available at our disposal.
As it stands right now, Gods & Monsters is a video game that is set to launch on February 25, 2020.
