A major creative director at Ubisoft– Julian Gerighty — might have just spoiled a huge announcement for Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference.
The tweet, which is still up at the moment of writing, states that he is currently working on the next Splinter Cell game with Dan Hay and Roman Campos Oriola in Lyon.
That is a lot to process as it would be very odd for a Ubisoft director to just announce a major title like Splinter Cell on Twitter like that especially since E3 2019 is only a month away. However, as you can expect Ubisoft took quick to Twitter to clear up any confusion for fans. But first, let’s check out Julian’s tweet down below:

As I mentioned above, Ubisoft PR was quick on the move as they sent out a response of Julian’s tweet which states the following:
“Julian was obviously joking as Julian likes to do. It looks like our creative directors are having fun right now. We do not have any announcements to make at this time.”
With E3 2019 a month away, gamers will only have to wait a little while longer to see if Julian was telling the truth about the new Splinter Cell or not.
