You’re all aware of the recent events of Notre-Dame. With the tragedy of its destruction, many will regret not being able to see the original architecture but you may be able to enjoy it virtually. The latest events have caused Ubisoft to stand in solidarity and giving gamers a copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity completely for free. This won’t be the latest installment in the franchise, but it’s certainly the most relevant right now.
Ubisoft made the announcement earlier today that they will be giving away free copies of Assassin’s Creed Unity on the Uplay digital storefront while also donating towards the restoration of the Notre-Dame. This particular game can be downloaded right now and will be available for the next seven days giving you plenty of opportunities to log into your account and claiming the game. Once you have downloaded the title you’ll have it in your account forever.
In solidarity with everyone moved by Monday’s events we’re donating to the restoration of Notre-Dame & giving you the chance to play @AssassinsCreed Unity on Uplay for free.

If you don’t recall, Assassin’s Creed Unity takes place in Paris and features Notre-Dame in high quality which is supposedly copied down perfectly. You may recall the game for some of the bugs and the riddled the gameplay, but it’s since been touched up. Furthermore, it won’t cost you a penny.
