DriveClub developer Evolution Studios' Paul Rustchynsky has taken to NeoGAF to clarify some questions about the game and, in particular, the PlayStation Plus edition of the PS4 exclusive.
Rustchynsky said that the PS Plus edition is "the full game minus a few cars/tracks" and added that players will be able to pick up the Platinum Trophy with this version of the game.
However, if you do decide to upgrade from the PS Plus edition to the full digital edition you'll then be able to play the game even if your subscription runs out. Those who opt to do this will also receive a discount but exact pricing has yet to be announced.
He also revealed that there will be no split-screen multiplayer.
DriveClub will be a PlayStation 4 launch title meaning players will be able to pick up the game for free this November from PS Plus but if you decide to wait before setting up a Plus account you can still get the game "well into the new year".
You can catch the latest trailer for the racer here – hint: there's cars.
